Kaptive PaintWorks restored the interior paint and stained all decorative wood elements of this late 1800s adobe duplex located in Laurel Canyon, near the Hollywood Hills and Sunset Boulevard. The neighborhood is renowned for its rich musical legacy and served as a focal point for the countercultural movement in the 1960s and 1970s.
The interior paint was in very poor condition, and needed to be scraped and re-primed prior to painting. Certain areas of the wall were deliberately left exposed, to showcase the adobe brick construction underneath, adding an artistic flair to the home.
