The Title Guarantee Building is sited directly across from Pershing Square in downtown Los Angeles, and boasts a glazed surface that posed unique challenges to the restoration specialists of our crew. The project would involve glazed terra cotta patching for full restoration. The surface was treated to resemble a hand-carved natural stone veneer and the replication of the damaged areas involved some creative use of moldmaking and patching techniques.
This structure is a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument, and is on the U.S National Register of Historic Places. Wikipedia Reference:
