Health and Safety

All employees are responsible for their own safety, as well as that of others in the workplace. To help us maintain a safe workplace, everyone must be safety-conscious at all times. Report all work-related injuries or illnesses immediately to your Foreman or Supervisor. In compliance with California law, and to promote the concept of a safe workplace, Kaptive C & P maintains an Injury and Illness Prevention Program. The Injury and Illness Prevention Program is available for review by employees and/or employee representatives at every project site.

Kaptive C&P also maintains a written COVID-19 Prevention Program in compliance with California law, which is available for review by employees and/or authorized representatives.

In compliance with Proposition 65, Kaptive C & P and Kreative Paintworks will inform employees of any known exposure to a chemical known to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity.

All employees receive safety training on a regular basis, including whenever new equipment or processes are introduced. Employees are required to follow all safety protocols at all times. Violations of safety requirements will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

Discipline levels for safety violations can include a verbal or written warning, suspension or termination. Discipline level is determined by the frequency or severity of the violation. The company reserves the right to decide what level of discipline is appropriate for the infraction.
