We’re excited to share that our window restoration and recreation project is officially finished! We repaired and replaced spring-loaded mechanisms, used Sugar Pine for damaged wood, and replaced rotten sills with mahogany. All hardware was cleaned and replicated to match the originals, with interiors and exteriors beautifully primed and painted.
For the recreated windows, we used straight grain Sugar Pine for the sashes and frames, paired with mahogany sills to match the originals. The hardware is a perfect match in style and color.
In addition to the windows, we custom manufactured interior and exterior doors with arched transoms and restored the front doors to their original glory. We also fully refinished numerous historical decorative wood elements throughout the building including the front desk.
