Revitalizing The Parkhurst Building: A Commitment to Preservation

U.S. National Register of Historic Places

185 Pier Ave, Santa Monica

The Parkhurst Building’s historic appeal and functionality have been successfully enhanced by the recent repair effort. Under the management of Kaptive C&P, the project’s main objective was the building’s windows’ painstaking restoration.

Our crew performed a complete window restoration, making the necessary repairs to the original windows to keep them functional and attractive. When new windows were needed, we made them specifically to fit the building’s ancient architecture while preserving its charm. We also installed brand-new, unique hardware that exactly matches the original components, guaranteeing authenticity in every way.

This project enhanced The Parkhurst Building’s durability and energy efficiency in addition to its appearance. We improved the windows’ functionality while maintaining the old building’s architectural integrity by repairing them. In order to preserve the building’s legacy, modernization and preservation must be carefully balanced.

With the completion of this project, Kaptive C&P is happy to have preserved The Parkhurst Building’s architectural legacy for upcoming generations. Our commitment to excellence and historical authenticity guarantees that this monument will always play a significant role in the community.
