Kaptive PaintWorks painted the entire exterior of Herrick Chapel at Occidental College, built in 1964. To protect the cast concrete substrate, we used elastomeric paint, a specialized coating designed to protect masonry surfaces. Additionally, we painted the bridge leading to the front door.
The project was completed during a scheduled closure, allowing us to work without any interruption or impact on foot traffic. This ensured the normal use and functionality of the chapel remained undisturbed.
