After years of neglect, the exterior brick of this Los Feliz English Tudor residence required extensive restoration. This meant repointing most of the brickwork. The joints were cut only in areas of damaged mortar, as some areas had already been washed, and had no mortar at all. We constructed a new brick patio, and meticulously recreated the front stairs.
Additionally, we removed the ivy tendrils that had attached themselves to the house. The process included carefully pulling down the ivy, followed by pressure washing using a rotating head, and finally scrubbing the brick with a hard bristle brush to thoroughly eliminate any remnants.
